Traffic in Denver

Is it any wonder that our climate changing ways are destroying our state and world?

The nonstop demolishing of the last of Denver's historic & affordable housing to be replaced with unaffordable and poorly-built skyrise housing, filling dumpsters with loads of beautiful bricks, wood and construction debris, heavy machinery, dump trucks and dumpsters everywhere destroying our roads such as Colfax with the small-business killing and traffic inducing BRT, traffic everywhere as people are being packed like rats into our city that is devoid of any safe & affordable public transportation (gas-guzzling RTD buses are dirty that are often occupied by intoxicated people who harass divers and riders alike, and the cost to ride these filthy & scary buses is incredibly expensive), unnecessary plastic bollards and round-abouts being installed everywhere, even on quiet neighborhood streets causing bikers to squeeze into traffic, adding visual distraction and confusion, and trapping trash & debris and creating un-safe routes for bicyclists that were formerly safe... the list goes on and on. Overpopulating and building everywhere in Denver isn't going to make it a better city, especially with the short-sighted, money-worshipping planners who are being bribed in our leadership.
